Dotty, Go for it. The second one goes much faster than first because you know what you're doing. The ones after that will be as easy. Can't wait to see them.

OK, I had to do it. After seeing how the star is supposed to look, and after looking at mine for a week, I took it apart and redid the center. It was just too crazy and I think it's better now. Here's before and after.

Sorry, but I like them both whitepine. I would have been very happy with the before.

whitepine--both blocks are beautiful--i like the second more only because my brain likes order and the solid black center seems to do that.
JeanieG--thanks for the advice on Picasa--unfortunately wont work on my MAC as it isnt an intel--son showed me how to resize so hopefully i'll remember for the future. Maybe this old dog can learn a few new tricks.
dotcomdtcm--said son is single--use to say girl only needed to have hair long enough to run his fingers through and know how to make him chocolate chip cookies..he's learned to bake the cookies so guess she just has to have the long hair. Unfortunately he is presently seeing a girl but if it doesnt work out i'll let you know.
Works4me--thank you for the compliment. I have loved all the color combinations here. i am rather traditional in putting colors together.
now did someone say there was a massage room on board? how about a hot tub? jacussi?
Good Bingo game today--won $48.00!
