Can I be your daughter? It is beautiful and I know she will enjoy it. It's even more special because she doesn't expect it. Please have someone with your camera to capture the moment. And yes you be right beside her with a box of Kleenex for both of you. Just enjoy the moment.

my whole family met at the casino buffet last night for a special (birthday surprise party) for my daughter (she turned 36)
there were 14 of us...including her mother in law & my mom---and her daughters of course.
anyway- after eating & blowing out candles ect---she started opening gifts- saved the one from me for last---
by now it was 6:30 on a friday night---place was sort of busy---she wound up holding it up-showing everyone in the room!
yes she did love it---even decided instead of going out to the movies she was going to go home & put in a movie at home so she could (snuggle) up with it
great success! and i'm glad it's over!
i did get lots of WOW's---which is (for me) the best part of quilting- i'm a show off----i love hearing the 'gasp' when one of my quilts are unfolded in front of a room full of people
