Just looked in to see the first quilts -CQRobin and Skaduzy, you have done each other proud. And oh my goodness, a round quilt! Has Dragonfly Nana snatched this month's prize for innovation already?

    Lots of love to Robin!!

Well, now that the Easter veil rush is over I can get back to work on my doll quilt. YAY! I have the squares made but haven't even had time to iron them. I will confess that I haven't figured out a layout plan, so that will be part of the fun.
But first ... off to an estate sale where there is a thimble collection available. I don't collect them myself, but lots of ladies on the secret pal swap and RAK list do so hopefully time to stock up on little surprises. And living in a tiny cottage by the sea, LITTLE is always good!
A tiny cottage by the sea sounds fabulous!!! Happy Easter to you also! I love thimbles! Have a nice collection and have bought a couple on our trip... .

ok, definitely at a moral cross road--should i send the dq i've made, and LOVE, or create a different one and keep the first?? anyone want to weigh in? what to do, what to do! it may not be innovative, but it is far beyond my comfort zone.

I like all the dq pictures I've seen so far for the month. :-) I just finished hand quilting the dq for Oralee, all that's left is to bind it. Nancia, that's a tough question. LOL I think as long as you make something else you love for your quilt swap partner then it would work to keep the first one. Usually by the time I finish something I'm tired of looking at it anyway. LOL Then later I love it again.

    Nancia -

Make another one the same, or as near the same as possible, then find someone who really couldn't care less (a man in the family usually qualifies) to decide which one goes to your partner.

    Happy Easter everyone!

What do you mean you're waiting on your swap partner? Have you not been in touch?
