I've been out of work for the last 3 months and so I'm working on saving money. To do that, I've placed a moratorium om buying fabric (Wizard of Oz is the only exception) and have actually been USING my stash (sounds crazy, I know). Though I've made 6 or so quilts in the past few months, I have not noticed any decrease in my stash, lol.

I'm trying to befriend the older ladies in the Quilt Guild in hopes they'll leave me their fabric... does that make me a bad person?

Do you suppose fabric, like wire hangers, multiply in the dark? I've put my fabric into dark cupboards with that hope and it sounds like you're proving the validity of this premise. We may have discovered something very important here!

And even if it's NOT true, it's a good excuse to use on DH!

Never running yardage...

... but bits & pieces sure do!

Mama Dollar & Papa Dollar aren't starting a family right now, but Mr. & Mrs. Scrap sure are!

Amma, this is what my Mom said years ago when we asked her when she was going to clean out her basement - she said she was leaving it for us kids as payback! She's 85 and been in that house 50 years now - paybacks are h___!

Years ago I cross stitched a little saying on a sweatshirt. It goes like this: SHE WHO DIES WITH THE MOST FABRIC WINS!!!!!!
