    Default twister tool

I have the twister tool to use with charm squares (5 inch squares) and the one to use with layer cakes (10 inches). Does anyone know where to get the twister tool that will work on 3 1/2 inch fabrics? That is about the size of the leftovers when you use the twister tool on the layer cakes.

They certainly don't make it easy to find! You can get it at Primitive Gatherings. even though they are the ones that created the twister tool, the mini's are listed under kits, then 'pinwheels'. I think I looked for an hour when I bought mine. Here are the links, you need to select "pattern" which includes the template.

this is the one that uses 2.5" squares:

Here's the one that uses the 3.5" squares:

I made mine, 1-1/2 in, smaller than the block size. Did one to use on 2-1/2 in block it was one inch. Lot of tiny work but turned out.

Primitive Gatherings carries it. It is called Primitive Pinwheels Tool and the smaller one is Itty Bitty Primitive Pinwheels Tool. The Twister Rulers themselves were designed by Country Schoolhouse Designs.

There is a pinwheel template here that you could resize to fit any size: http://www.quilterscache.com/images5...heels5temp.gif

which is linked from this page: http://www.quilterscache.com/P/Pinwheel5Block.html
