Hi BMP,

The sun is brutal here in NM but my feeling is that I am going to enjoy my quilts and if they get all faded I will make more. In the winter, we get more direct sun on the porch but in the summer there is much more shade so I don't worry as much about it. Like my husband says about the "big puppies" scratching up the wood floors, "don't worry about it, it gives them more character". My faded quilts will have more character too I guess.

Okay the quilts are show stopping lovely but the ROOM! I love the room! What a fantastic place to show off those quilts too! All in all - beautiful.
