Remember that beauty is in the eye of the beholder....
It is a bit modern for my taste...and orange isn't my color....but, some of the young girls wear these colors.
I think it will make a lovely gift for a baby.

I really like it!!! Nice and bright orange is a popular color up here. Moms would love it!

So sorry.....I disagree! The quilt is bright and happy. Any child will love it! Give it to the next in line so you will stop worrying over it

Don't think I could have said this any better. She is having a baby and let her and others see that she is special and has a value.

You could always soften the orangy colors with some appliques in browns, greens, creams that have prints or designs. If that would be too much, why not use this as at the beach, poolside or at a picnic. Coastal Living magazine is always using orange as an accent color.

Your quilt is bright and happy! Don't be too hard on yourself. Babies don't care about the "mistakes", and they like bright colors! Someone will enjoy it!

Me, too! I think a baby would love being wrapped up in all those warm colors! But if it really bugs you, donate it to a charity & know that it will be loved & appreciated by a child somewhere. But... just to be clear... it is NOT fugly (& I know what-of I speak having made several truly hideous quilts myself... LOL!)!!!

I had the same problem making that quilt. I do like the orange blocks and babies like bright colours but you do what you feel is right for your gift.
