well the pattern had a pattern for the corners...so that helped...I have even seen tutes where people use plates for the curves---start in the middle of each side and then adjust your scallops accordingly---I am sure mine are not exact--but it looks good to me LOL

I am so jealous!!!!! I've never attempted to do a scallop edge for fear of botching my quilt. You are incredible!

I am waiting for my small quilt to come back from the LAQ. I marked the scallops before I sent it in case she needed to see that. I used freezer paper cut to the length of the sides and the ends. I folded it until I liked the width of each scallop and cut the scalloped edge. Then I ironed the paper to my quilt, one side at a time and marked it with wash out marker. I haven't cut my bias border yet and am trying to decide what width to cut it. Do you use a single layer binding or a double layer?
