I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this....I have this book and have collected purples for SuperNova, but I'm a little hesitant to make it b/c I want it smaller too!! Eileen Wright has responded on the Board to someone else has done work from that book, maybe she will see this too and see what a beautiful job you've done!!

I love Bargellos and yours is beautiful! They look so extremely hard with so many tiny pieces, I don't know if I will ever have the guts to try one.

Stunning quilt. Your fabrics are beautiful and remind me of my southwest travels.

I am happy to help if you feel you need it. I thought you ladies were doing just fine without me. LOL

Thank you for joining in Eileen. One question many of us have is it possible to make the pattern smaller. Thanks in advance for any help you can give us.

Making things larger can lose the integrity of the design but smaller should be just fine. Someone gave the correct answer earlier. Subtract the seam allowance, multiply by the percentage you want then add the seam allowance back on. Supernova is made in two halves so take that into account when you do the math. This is the first time I have been asked for Supernova smaller. My next book is totally filled with designs that werre requested by quilters. Hopefully it will be as popular as the first book. Anyway if you ever need me do post a message relating to bargello and then I receive an email. I try to get online as soon as I can. I hope to see more pictures ladies. It is so exciting for me to see the gorgeous colours that you choose.
Cheers - Eileen
