Default How to Make a Cake Pincushion

There have been a few times folks here have asked me about the cake pincushion in my avatar.
I made it for my SIL's birthday. She is a retired Home Economics teacher and sews a lot and also makes very pretty cakes.
I was finally prompted to sit down and write out instructions. I hope what I wrote out is easy enough to understand. Here is my attempt, in pdf format for downloading. Bear with me, because I've never tried to do a pdf file before. If you can't open it, please let me know. Okay... deep breath... here goes!
