Very pretty Spiderweb Quilt! I've never made one, plan to make that my next project. Did you use a special tool for this quilt?

No special tool involved. Preactice this on a piece of paper first. Just cut a large square to whatever size you want. I would think 10 inches would be good. Then cut in two; corner to corner to make two triangles. At the top point end of the triangle, measure on either side about 1.5 inches. Make a mark. Find the middle of the long side and measure over from middle about 1/2 inch on either side and make a mark. Then draw a line from each dot on flat bottom up to dot on same side on either side of pointy part. That makes your pattern. Use that to make a template to cut out multiple pieces until you have enough for all the blocks you need. You need 4 pieces for each block. Wish I knew how to get a picture on here to show you. It is really easier than it sounds. This way you can make the 'center star' part as wide or as skinny as you wish.

With my way, you don't have to worry about paper piecing. Just use a thin piece of fabric for backing and after you get your star part made just begin adding strips.

LOVE your quilt! I'm taking the Block of the Month class on Craftsy and this was one of the blocks taught. I loved making it and plan on doing a quilt with this block. Great Job!!!!

Beautiful. To make removing paper easier spirts lightly with water, wait a minute then the paper will fall away.
