My Hubby is really a sweetheart, I did make a promise that I would not buy fabric for the month of May... I really think I made it more to myself, but our beloved dog passed away this week and FQ's were on sale at the LQS for a dollar so I went and bought a few dozen! It was good therapy and now that some projects are finished I am back to working on this new one. I am making a scrappy table topper with 2 inch squares. And a memorial wall hanging with the Dogs picture.

I can see your new fabric line already! My daughter when she was little asked me if there were a "tranzillion stars in the sky", I told her "I think so"
Marybeth; Im so sorry to hear about the passing of you beloved dog. I think its wonderful that you are making a memorial wall hanging for the family. Are you going to use any pieces of his doggie bed or a favorite blanket of his/hers in the wall hanging??

Marybeth,
Just wanted to say I am sorry about your little dog...it really does hurt to lose a pet, they become just like family, eh?..I never thought of how sad it could make one until we lost our beloved Buttons (our cat, she was almost 18 yrs old...I hesitate to say our cat, as she really was like our "baby".) I also wanted to say that now you know your little dog is one of the "tranzillion" stars in the sky along with my sweet Buttons!
Take care,
Kif

Hi everyone!!

I got a few new packages this week!! All the blocks look great, if you are on the fence about joining us, trust me you don't want to miss this one!! Remember - it's easy to lose track of time, so with 2 months till the blocks need to be to me, be sure you are working on them and feel free to mail to me early. Mailing early is way better than missing out!!

Thanks so much!
Rachel

Thanks so much, He is in Doggie heaven and he is in good company!

I am working on UFO's this month and it is amazing how good I feel to get them finished and out of my sewing room. I sew a lot more in the winter than the summer months, but have really been inspired to get some projects finished.

Oh good grief - I am soooooooooo far behind ! Been working on a quilt for my Grandson's graduation. Kinda put everything else on hold. Not done yet, but, looking at all the blocks that have been posted, (which are wonderful by the way) makes me want to get at my blocks ! Guess I'll take a break from grad. quilt.

Finally finished my Halloween blocks and will mail tomorrow.

Still need to get to the postoffice with my blocks. Hopefully they will go out on Monday. I'll miss my sunny-faced pumpkins. Whoever receives one can add a stem when putting your quilt together.
