    Thanks for the tute and all the pictures. I think I'll give it a try as soon as I get the jeans. I had some but cut them up for patches and squares. :-(

    I really like the idea of using "fun" fabric for binding the elements before sewing them together because it adds a lot of "interest" to this project. Thank you!

    Love old blue jean tote, last forever. Presently I'm using up old jeans, cutting 8 x 6.5 inch blocks for a bed cover for my son's RV. I have 90 blocks cut out so far. Over the weekend I got several pair of good old jeans at yards sales for 25 cents each. I'm cutting those up right now. Recycle!!!!!
