It would be great if it were.
I use my Embroidery as part of my Quilting. I also think we need our own section

I like to do pants legs and shirts and quilt blocks. Also love the free standing lace, Embroidery.com has great lace Christmas ornaments. They are so nice to slip in with Christmas cards.
I have a Janome 11,000 SE and I am very frustrated because I cannot find anyone to teach me how to use this machine. The dealer I bought it from did not know much more than me when I bought it. HELP!!!!! Where do I go for advice. Know nothing about how to use stabilizers and what kind.

Well, part of the price you paid for the machine includes dealer support. If your dealer is unable to support you, maybe Janome can assist you in finding a dealer who will do so - without having to pay extra. It doesn't seem right to pay that much for a machine and not get lessons. Good luck.

I'm almost ready to start quilting my embroidery quilt. Nine blocks with embroidery, sashing, inner and outer borders. Well - almost, almost ready - since I'm replacing the sashing with a different color. A day's work to finish and be ready to baste.

So, I think I mentioned before that the blocks are pretty dense - but they seem worse in my dreams than in real life and are fine. Anyway, what would be the best batting to use to try to "hide" the stiffness. If I use a low loft, I'm afraid that the distinct back of a dense block will be too obvious through the back.

I'm thinking a mid-loft poly because I don't want any shrinkage of the batting. What do you think?

    Thanks,
    Cathy

    Default "Sticky" Embroidery thread

I've used my embroidery machine many times to create blocks I use in my quilts. I would love to have this thread easier to access without having to look through all the post everytime.
My photo is an example of a machine embroidered applique of "SunBonnet Bells".
