    That black really is a great background... I never would have thought to use it but I really like the way it makes the blocks pop. I love the fabric she used in the blocks, too... no wonder your DH likes this one... it's fabulous! And your quiilting is just perfect for it! Somebody's DGS is one lucky little guy!!!

    My DILs mother made a SIW that was all the same color. Couldn't tell that she put so much work into it. Now yours looks great. If and when I make one, I will be sure to make mine have contrasting colors.
