For those that asked Twilling is a knotted embroidery stitch, it's very textural and is fairly easy to do. Is worked with either pearl cotton or embroidery floss. Would recommend learning with pearl cotton size 5, because you don't have to worry about and errant strand like on embroidery floss. Once you learn it you can change it up and mix it in with other stitches, use different numbers of strands for different looks. Vary the stitch length or width or both for even more different looks.
