Florence, I had not noticed the circles in your focus fabric. So pretty, and great fussy cutting!

Good morning, All. Here is my Montana. It is good to be caught up! I am actually about 3 ahead so I can work on finishing my Houses quilt from last year.

Wow, lots of fabulous fussy cut blocks this morning! They are all great. Not to say the others aren't great, too! Good job, everyone. I've 2 blocks to make today, hope I can catch up.

Thanks, Pam. Now that I am more experienced with these, I cut all the fabrics in advance for each block, and label the little stacks as Carol suggests. Then I go through the numbers for both sections. I glue on all the A & B #1 pieces, then sew on all the #2 pieces, all the #3 pieces, etc., assembly line style. It goes much faster this way!

Wow! Montana seems to have brought out the best in everyone. Such great cutting, circles, jewelry, moons. I have to go back an look at them all again. I had trouble finding a focus in my fabrics but made do. Nicky, your stars are spectacular!

I know I've already had John Denver doing a song, but he sure loved those mountains. "Wild Montana Skies"
