Default Looking for Thomas the Train fabrics....

About a year ago I made a Thomas the Train pillowcase for my neices's son Mario and now his younger brother Vincent wants one of his own as they fight over the pillowcase. I don't remember where I bought the fabric, Joann's or Walmart. Both are a distance away from me, and in different directions, so I don't want to waste time going to the wrong store. May in Jersey

Can you call each of the stores and see if they have it in stock? I know they don't always have the same kids fabric from one time to the next. I have some small pieces of the fabric left from one I did for DGS, if you are interested. You could probably only get a fairly wide (4-6 inch) pieced border done with them.

Walmart was where I got mine, but that was at least a year ago.

I think I bought mine at Walmart too, of course, it's the longest distance from me but I'll give it a try later this week on the off chance they still have some.

You could try calling the store. You might luck out and get a helpful clerk - and if you are really really lucky, they will have it in stock and would be willing to set it aside for you for a couple of days.

I have seen it at Hobby Lobby too. Seems like they had several different prints of it too.

    May,
send me a pm. I have a fairly large piece I'd be willing to part with.

go to www.quiltshops.com. Put Thomas the Train in the search and that will help find which shops have the fabric.

    Good luck

crj, I need at least 3/4 of a yard, is your piece large enough?
My niece is sending me a photo of the pillowcase I made for her older son and I'm gong to try to get a different design for the younger son's pillowcase. Will let you know after I hear from her. May

You might not want to spend that much but it seems to me Pennington quilt works had some when I was in there a few weeks ago. Just a though. You can order online from them.
