Default My little new Featherweight

I was so lucky to get my hands on this little beauty. Now I am just curious about the dating and I hope somebody can help me. I have been searching on the web but without luck.
The number is EV974825

Hopefully I will get some time tomorrow to test it out.

Thanks for helping.

Anne

Try www.singer-featherweight.com

I have one like this and understand these were made in Great Britain. Great little machine that I use for retreats & classes.

It looks to be in real good condition. Good for you to get it.

It had to be made 1962-1964. Machine numbers are not that accurate, but the white ones were made from 1961-1964 and I didn't see your number in the 1961 year.
Hope that helps.
Yours doesn't look like it has much green tint. From the book I read the greenish white ones were run after the other model Singers that were green and some of the color was not cleaned out.

If you check out this site: http://www.singerco.com/support/mach.../double-letter you will see that it was made in 1964, what a wonderful machine, where did you find it, how much did you pay, I am so jealous.
