Funky Halloween Swap ^^._.^^ Sign Ups close June 30, 2012
#231
Just wanted to let any lurkers know that today is the last day to sign up!! We currently have 46 members, but can squeeze a few more in.
Also, if you think you are signed up, please be sure to check our swap list to be sure. If you are not on the list just let me know and I will be sure to add you and send you mailing info.

We have about 1 month to mail. Packages should be to me by July 31.
Something to think about when mailing ..... On the last swap I did, pretty much every person's sets could fit in one of those flat rate mailing envelopes for $5.15. Some people paid as much as $12 to send a package regular mail when it could have fit in one of those. If you go to the post office, you can buy a $5.15 stamp, put it on a flat rate envelope, put your address on the envelope and fold it in half and mail it to me with your sets. This makes my life a little easier when mailing and you will have the cheapest mailing rate this way.
Cheers!
Rachel

Rachel! That is an impressive swapper list! I'm so glad I joined up. Going to work on my cats today and prepare a spiderweb my daughter and I are talking about. And mingle sewing some signatures on my siggi squares for another swap. I got smart and wrote all the swaps im doing on a calendar so I can be more organized.

Well my 3 sets of blocks have been finished for a couple of weeks just waiting for me to place them in clear sacks and write my name on each. I did it this morning and now feel regret that it is all over except the mailing. If I get a chance between now and the mailing, I am going to try to locate my Halloween embroidery disks and make a 4th set of large embroidery redwork in 9 inch blocks. Just hope I can find them and then remember how to do it.

I am so excited about this swap! I have two sets of blocks done, I will post photos later when I can get a chance. I am hoping to have some more done before the deadline, I want to get as many blocks as I can.. nope not greedy, just so adore Halloween and want as many different varieties of the gorgeous blocks everyone has been posting!

Here is what I finished today. Six Sun Bonnet Sue's and two cats. I cant remember what cats we have. I hope I'm not being a copy CAT... I'll finish up the cats then see if I have time for a third set I'm thinking something spider webby.... Unless you'd like more embroidered Sue's, they are SO CUTE! My QB-BFF fraew challanged me to do one Halloween set on my embroidery machine. Woohoo I did it!!! First time too. Thanks fraew! Now it's your turn ;D
