That happened to my Brother 2500D. It won't go for 6hours non-stop. However, if I let it take a break between designs while I rehoop, etc. It will go longer than I can. Just stop the machine, turn it off and let everything cool down. This is why they have the temperature overload switch in the motor. Just let it do its job.

I use the Customizer that comes with it for sizing, downloading, etc. It is so much fun, I use it nearly every day. I will take a pic of the shirt I made DH for Christmas and get it on here soon. I like to do pants legs and shirts and quilt blocks. Also love the free standing lace, Embroidery.com has great lace Christmas ornaments. They are so nice to slip in with Christmas cards.

Took it to repair person today. It did the same thing for her as it did for me. Said it would be 2 weeks before she could look at it, but feels it has a thread caught under the bobbin casing.

I have a Janome MB-4, and I love it. I would like to get a hat hoop, but it is just way too rich for my blood!

Becareful advertising to sell on here. You have to be a member for so long first and by your name you'll have reached a certain status before you can sell. And then you have to sell it for 60% or less of the retail value; this is why I don't sell my Viking #1 on here or the amazing box that allows you to get your designs from the internet to your pc and to you machine. It's brand new and I'm not selling it for 60% of what I paid for it. I'd rather keep it and eventually give it to someone I know or sell if on CL for closer to the retail value. I've been a member for a few yrs and I've seen more than one persons ad get pulled because it doesn't meet the guidelines. Including mine before I knew how much of a loss it would be. Just letting you know.
