    Default Hidden Wells Quilt Pattern

Is it possible to make the Hidden Wells pattern with a jelly roll or do you need the width variation to make it more interesting? I want to make a quilt for my son from Benartex's Leaf Haven came upon an old thread for Hidden Wells and thought it might work. Would appreciate input from someone who has made this pattern.

I think it would be find with a jelly roll. I would do the light to dark for the variation more than the width of the strips anyways.... Here is a link for the pattern that I found when I googled the pattern. http://www.reddawn.net/quilt/hwells.htm

I've made that pattern(only the lady I took the class from called it "What a surprise!") Can't find the pattern, but at the time I didn't think that I liked the quilt when I finished it....now I love it. I have it on my bed and I marvel that I actually made it. I would think that a jelly roll would work great.

It would work...would give a different look than making the quilt with varying size strips...it was always a suprise how the quilt turned out...fun pattern!
