Licorice Candy called Coal Candy
My daughter asked me to take a trip down memory lane.
She asked if I knew how it was packaged
It was black licorice candy in chunks and it came with a small hammer
to break up the chunks. I know we had it around in the 60's and maybe
earlier. How was it packaged? in a bag or in a box?
And do you remember the metal hammer?
What candy maker made this product?
Please share your memories and information.
and many thanks....

Licorice!! If it's licorice, I am all about it. I don't remember the old packaging or hammer, but it's now MUST on my shopping list. Thanks for bringing it up. I am a licorice "addict" of sorts, who has just discovered licorice tea. Yummmm! No DUI's or cigarette runs for this girl just her licorice fix!
