I just received at Singer Futura II 920.
It has a self threading Bobbin but I can't get it to work. The thread goes under the bobbin. What am I doing wrong?

Helen,

Sargent Shultz used to say: "I KNOW Nothing!!!!". Well I know nothing about your machine, so all I can say is consult the owners manual, ~and~ if you don't have one go here: http://www.singerco.com/accessories/...manuals/search for a free .pdf download.

I have my aunt's old machine with those bobbins, I can't get them to work either. I will be watching to see what you learn.

l had one similar, plastic bobbin holder had a little indent with cross marks that bobbin sat in. It was worn out, would have cost too much to replace. I traded it in on a black 301. Didn't want to replace that machine or buy one that wound by itself. Once was enough, I worked for hours and hours and hours on that machine before finally giving up.
