    You are so organized! I buy fabric ahead of time that I think would make great binding - usually multicolored stripes - and then when I'm bored I make binding.

    great idea.I have a few fabrics with stripes and I usually am not fond of them-but great bindings.Now I can cut some of them up too-oh goody

    Great idea and so organized and prepared! I heard of this quilter once who cut ALL of her fabric into strips! She had them draped over clothes folding racks! I could not do this as I would invariably find a pattern calling for 8" squares! haha! You are NOW ready to sew a fabulous log cabin quilt! I need to try your idea sometime!

    I like log cabins-but I will not cut all of my fabric into these strips-nice to have options.

    Just asking here, doesn't the log cabin block use 2 inch strips instead of 2 1/2 inch. Come to think of it you can make your strips any size. Just thinking out loud here. Have a good time sewing.

    Wow, so nice and neat! I just the other day put a bunch of strips I had cut onto a hanger, and hung it in my closet.
