Oh, my goshes. I wasn't going to look at another B/W quilt, but curiosity did get the better of me and am I glad it did. That is spectacular with the toille in the middle.

So here's one of my first quilt. It's from a french decoration Magazine, Marie Claire Idées. The center motives of the log cabins are "toile de Jouy" fabric. The "toile de Jouy" was created in the 18th century in a town, Jouy-en-Josas, near Paris. It is easy to identify because of the printed rural scenes motives.
It's a mix of symmetric and asymmetric log cabin blocks.
