Red face Sewing Machine Mat for 8 yo GD

I've been teaching my GD to sew

    http://www.quiltingboard.com/main-f1...w-t195329.html

She needed a place to put pins, scissors, etc. Thought this would do the trick--Smiley face 'bump' is a pin cushion and plenty of pockets to put sewing supplies. And purple is her favorite color.

What great memories you two are creating together!

She's off to such a great start and I bet will continue to follow in Grandma's footsteps!

That is totally awesome. She done a fantastic job on it & will be so useful. Isn't it fun to teach the grand kids? I have had the pleasure of teaching 5 DGD & 1 DGS to sew.
