stunning quilts ladies.

I think for boom 8 I am going to continue the black and white with a splash of red theme , to make a large quilt for myself. My blocks are stunning, thanks to all of you!

have you thought about making 2 more blocks yourself, or getting a couple of friends to make you 2 (i did) then you could have all the blocks showing up front and your quilt would be 1 row longer
just thinking out loud
hugs!! it's looking lovely together!!!

I had a wonderful time last Saturday with LovingIzabella and Buddy's Mom - we went to Windham and got mega doses of their wonderful repros and batiks - we got a couple of good pictures of us together, but April will have to post them, they were taken with her phone ... already planning our next get-together, may do our own little mini shop hop in western CT- then I got to visit Buddy's Mom sewing room, what a great space she has, peg board on the walls, everything hanging on hooks, I will really have to work hard to get my sewing room cleaned up before they come to see me!

I finally got the last blocks out, most of you should receive them tomorrow or Saturday, again, so sorry for the delays, my machine is kaput, but luckily I won a new one today on Ebay - I can hardly wait to get it! I love every block I received from all of you, my wonderful swap partners. I've been making more blocks to go with them, because of all your creativity, you've pushed me to use more colors and to try more patterns. This is going to be one spectacular quilt, thank you all again!

Here are some pictures

your blocks with my first three additions

my Circle of Geese block, one of my favorite designs ... I would never have tried this one without seeing how everone stretched their imaginations with my fabric ... thank you all again and again - lots of hugs to one and all

Sorry for the redundant attachment, I can't figure out how to delete it, but then, it's worth looking at twice, your blocks all play together so nicely!

What beautiful blocks Sue!
Yes we had a great time getting together and going to Windham. Mom and I (and Izabella too) received beautiful blocks from Sue and now I have an outhouse for my bathroom!! Wohooo! I have to take a picture of the blocks.
Here are the two pictures I got of the three of us. In the first picture is is Madame, Buddy's mom & then me and in the second picture it is buddy'smom, Madame & then me (good golly gee I really need to get those 100 pounds off!!)
Thanks Sue for traipsing along with us and for a wonderful LQS & lunch trip...and then a visit to mom's
Hugs
April

Grrr the photos are flipped...will add them when I get home

Hi All! I'm home from vacation. I received blocks yesterday from Mdmsew'n'sew, tildiemae, goldendog55 and Linda C. Thank you all for the pretty blocks. When I am all caught up on laundry (if that's ever possible) and cleanup, I'll share pictures!

Yayyyy! Rec'd my final block today from Madam Sew N' Sew and I love it! Thank you also for the pattern - I will most definitely use it.

These blocks will compose the center of a civil war type quilt for DH. He mentions EVERY time that I make a quilt, that I've never made one for him! (All the quilts I have kept are either on our walls or couches) DH LOVES civil war history - in fact our entire bedroom is decorated in red, grey and blue.

Thank you all so much for participating with me. I really enjoyed it.

BTW, his birthday is the end of Oct, so need to get crackin' on putting it all together. (Of course, there is always Christmas...!)
