Does anyone have this iron!? I feel like I need it!!! I's like reviews from real people before I buy it.

My LQS had an Oliso (the yellow one) and I loved it. I was going to buy it when I went to a class and the pop ups had quit working, BUT they stuck out enough to catch the fabric. I decided to try for something less expensive until I figure out which one I want. I had a Rowenta but I kept hearing about leaking problems -- then mine set off the smoke detectors. I will keep looking.

If you're in the market for an inexpensive Oliso, we're forming a group-buy on massdrop.com for them. Unfortunately it's the Blue TG1050 and not the fancy yellow professional model, but at $80 it's a pretty good deal. If enough people buy it, it'll only be $72! - Not quite as much of a bargain as $40 on clearance at Jo-Annes
We listed it because some of our members suggested they wanted to buy them as Christmas presents for their moms or wives. Judging by some of the posts here, it sounds like they got the right idea. Hopefully there's some interest here on QB as well!

I have had both Rowenta and Oliso. My Rowenta leaked badly & stopped heating well. My Oliso, which I purchased after seeing the ones being used by my LAQ, is working GREAT - I have had it for a year and have had no problems! Love it!
