    Default Orphan blocks

Do you have some quilt blocks that are "orphans" (not part of a quilt and you have only made one of them). I have three I made recently I thought you'd like to see.

First is an Evening Star quilt block:

    Next up, the Arizona block:

And finally, the cat block from quilting.about.com:

Do you have any "orphans"? I'd love to see them!

What great blocks! Were they samples? They're fabulous! I've always wanted to make that kitty cat block!

Burchquilts, I'm a fairly new quilter and just wanted to practice my cutting, sewing, and matching seams. Also, learning how to make HST's, etc. Eventually I may incorporate them all into a quilt, but for now I'm having fun trying different block patterns and techniques.
