The quilting on that is AMAZING. And I'm sure it was by hand. Don't hand quilters amaze you?

It is an amazing quilt. Imagine the time put in to every stitch. Isn't it a shame some people consider these quilts as junk when we appreciate them so much. Wish I had something passed down to me.

I'd suggest leaving the original binding and just adding another binding on top of the original binding - just wider.

congrats it is beautiful... so glad you didnt cut it up for anything other than a quilt would be such a shame... it is beautiful.. lucky you...
