I organised a quilt show in our local Senior Citizens Centre at the weekend and thought I'd post a pic here of the some of my little quilts made with plain fabrics, as this was the theme month.
I also had a little display of my dolls quilts and I changed them around over the 2 days so they all got to be exhibited. I received a lot of interest in the dolls quilt swap and so many positive comments about the little quilts.

More awesome quilts being show - Great work all.
Lynnie25 - What an adorable show! You do such beautiful work. I wish I had know you collect salvages before I mailed your DQ - I could have used them as packing!

Marybeth, I am so glad you like your little Amish quilt and potholder. I found the potholder in an Amish market when I was in PA.
I got my DQ from Needle Grammy, I love it so much it is really a nice quilt. I wish I was tiny and could put it on my own bed! Such an amazing quilt. She also sent along a pot holder from the Amish, I just love it, I will put it on my DQ wall!

Now I think I have to start stretching my creativeness and get going on a wonderful awesome quilt for September.

Oh my, there are some gorgeous little quilts being shown. And I can't believe Halloween is sneaking up on you too
buslady, DH has mentioned a couple of times about building another house or moving and I am quick to shut down that discussion LOL I could not imagine trying to clean out HIS shed(s) let alone all my accummulated 'important' stuff Glad you are settled and can now get onto your sewing in earnest.

Thank you Dragonflynana
Wow, I received an "Angel" quilt from Dragonflynana. It is BEAUTIFUL!!! Thank you so much. It came at a time that I really needed a boost! I have it hung on the wall outside my office. I can see if from my chair, and everyone that enters the building can see it. It has such GREAT colors! The movement in those nine patches is really great. It is like one of those photo's that if you look at them from different perspective, you see something different. Does that make sense? I see circles, then I see figure eights..........anyway.......Thank you so much Paula. Pictures attached, I hope!! The camera just does not do the colors justice. The green in vibrant and pulls the green out of the background. The quilting is so simple, yet elegant!! I am sew inspired.
