No roses. How about adding a silk yellow rose in the packaging just for fun?

This Texan says the yellow roses don't really fit the "personality" of the quilt, if that makes sense. However, that said, the roses are pretty. Use them in another project--maybe an appliqued basket...could even add bluebonnets!

As a born and bred Texan, I say no to the roses. The block is lovely as it is and the roses detract, I think.

I might be a Colorado native, but my "signature" is 3 yellow roses
(of course I can't post that in my signature on here).

So with that being said.. I vote for WITH the roses since I am so partial
    to them.

As much as I love roses and I am from Texas, I like without roses .

I like it without the roses. Most likely you are thinking of the song "The Yellow Rose of Texas" which makes the yellow roses appropriate. However the Bluebonnet is the state flower and maybe you should take a look at that.

don't use the yellow roses. they don't have the same *feel* as the rest of the composition.
