    Default Sewing/Scrapbook room

I got a new machine last week. The Janome 4120. And so we rearranged my craft room. We had to put in another table to hold it, because it is a dual sewing scrapbooking space, I always had to put one away to work on the other, but we started using our noggins and came up with this... We are looking at new tables, but this black one works fine for now, it's solid and sturdy.

I have two islands, on one I cut fabric, and the other I have my cricut, gypsy and paper cutter. I store my paper stackers underneath. I have a walk in closet, my dh put shelves from floor to ceiling, and one side is for Scrapbook tools and supplies and the other is my fabric stash area. It's still in transition. LOL. My wrapping and framing stuff is also in there.

Yes, you are seeing twins on the wall, I've got two I Spy tops ready to go to the quilter and two on the table being worked.

The cubicles are for scrapbook stuff, As is the long banguet table, but I like being able to use it to lay out quilts and fabric too. And, I do keep my "Classic" movie collection in there as I like to pop one in to the DVR when I am in there working. I'll have more room when I get my new sewing table. We live in the country and the window looks out over our backyard, the inground pool and the woods behind our house. It's peacful when I sew.

Thanks. Having a walk in closet with shelves helps alot. I can keep everything away except what I am actually working on.

I wrap my fabric on foam core, my FQ's are all stacked in an open bin on the shelf, and I even put my washed pressed fabrics I am currently cutting on hangers and hang them up so I can get to them at a glance. My scraps are in a clear container on a shelf too.

All of my quilt books are in there, and the albums/refills I am working on or going to in the future on the "Scrap" side. Pictures that are printed waiting to be scrapped are filed on a shelf and the ones that are done are in photo boxes.
