Really not much wasted, You can use the small pieces with smaller dies. It just creates more projects. LOL
I love mine I can cut all the pieces for a full size quilt in about 3 hours. Cut stripes first then use your dies.

I have the accu quilt and I have a question for those that have the rag die. Does it work? I have heard that there is problems with all the threads?
