Default Do I decorate with quilts....yes

Here is my family room and if it weren't for quilts not sure what I'd hang on these big walls... As you can see I like Southwest so I've decorated my Family Room in SW quilts. The Dances with Wind won 1st place in Utah at the SewBatik challenge... we had 1/4 yard of 4 colors and we could add no more than 4 more colors. the colors given to us were the green and yellow in the face and then the two oranges I put into the feathers. I added the navy blue and green background, and feet colors and the green paisly in the shirt... After going through several book finally decided to go with what was in my heart... Southwest!!! was actually surprised that it won... Southwest rarely wins... so was a big surprise... the others... the Buffalo is a brown bag our guild did.. put in 2 yards of a fabric in a brown bag and you get to pick a brown bag... the turquoise/teal was my fabric and a good friend that got my brown bag made this for me knowing I like SW.. the other is a BOM from Southwest Decoraties in Albuquerque (I know I didn't spell that right!) the sashing is from Barb's elegant designs..hand PAINTED not dyed... the last on is a patter from Barb's Elegant designs and I call it Painted Desert... So that is my family room.

Your room looks great with all your art quilts. You are lucky to display them all.
