Default Disappearing 9-patch made from charms

I think this looks like a really neat way to make a Disappearing 9-Patch!

I think I'll use this pattern to make my friend a table runner for fall. She loves the fall colors and I have some left over from previous projects. Thanks for the link.

There is a gal on this board that makes prettier ones! The web site one they didn't make the small squares stand out and had odd dark ones here and there - I personally don't care for the no pattern look. The gal on this board recommends making all four corners either dark or light and make the center square a color that will show up the small squares that are created from the center square. Sorry I can't remember who it is, but you could do a search on this board for D9P and see some that have been done and see the differences. I mentioned these suggestions to a friend and she made two outstanding D9P. Just my thoughts.

Sorry - meant to say "thank you" for sharing the link. If you really like the one on that site, I think you will like some better on here.

Thanks for sharing. I recently saw the tutioral on Missouri Star for this and made one. Since I had only 1 charm pack it made only 4 squres. I made a cute baby quilt with the squares and sashing with a little machine embroidery..
