My first two blocks are done--not really happy with the 2nd--but this is a learning process, right?

No wonder I think it looks funny--all the corners are flipped 90 degrees.

Kris--nice blocks! Your 2nd block might look funny to you but it gives the block an interesting twist...I like it.

Patti and I have our week 2 squared finished. I have been having such a good time looking at all of your squares. How lovely. I can't wait to see how our collections come together when the quilts are finished!

The first block is Patti's and the second is mine.

Goodness! You don't read a thread for a day or two and boy howdy what eye candy you MISS! LOL! Just so I don't miss anyone:
Rosyhf, Anael, Honchey, Patricia Faye, Marne, Lyn Hut, Krisb, Jtquilts & Patti...beautiful blocks ladies! How great to see how different the blocks look when using different fabrics...that's always fun for me to see how that happens with the same patterns?

Here is my Mona's Star block... 4". I scanned it in my computer, so it may show too much details...like each individual thread? Really? LOL! Sorry, next time I'll make it smaller so you're not hit in the head with the block?
