    Thanks Ronda,yes, it is a turtle block out of Block Base. I had something in mind but haven't gotten back to it lol....Here is a link to the tut that I did....

    here's block #2....42 pieces of fabric...wow! This is getting interesting. I stayed up all night Sunday night when I couldn't sleep and cut the pieces for almost all the rest of the quilt blocks. I'm enjoying seeing the blocks done in so many different types of fabric!

    Sandiquilts, lovely blocks. I also love seeing all the different fabrics. Today I spent the day printing out all the rest of my blocks and some of them I am using templates and some I am just cutting the patches because they seem easier that way, plus I really like to practice my set in's.

    All the blocks are looking so fantastic. It is really fun to see the blocks done in so many different fabric variations.

    Default 2nd Block done

    Finally I got the 2nd block done after several tries and still isn't good. Wow those 4" can be tough.

    Sorry but can't get picture to enlarge, which could be a good thing that way you quilt police can't see the corners.
