    I like your table topper too. How big is the center dresden plate? Your border fabric is so perfect and so is the background fabric. Wonderful job.

    I wouldn't normally put "modern" and "Dresden plate" in the same sentence, but you created the perfect mingling of old and new. Beautiful!

    Wow, that is cool! Using the curved arch gave it a whole different look than the traditional Dresden, even though the fabrics are cut in the traditional shape. And your quilting on the background and border is spectacular, too!

    When I first looked at this, I didn't see the Dresden plate at all. But when I looked at the close up pic, I can see it. the quilting gives this quilt a sense of movement and totally changes the effect. I love this look and the fabrics you chose!
