SulaBug -- you & Cindy did a great job on this beautiful quilt! What will you bind it with?

Hi Ladies & thank you for the kind words re:my quilt top. I plan to bind it with the floral fabric, that I have used in piecing the quit top together. I am hoping that it will look really good with that fabric, when I am done. I will share a picture then. Until later have a great sewing time.

    Default Mine done!

Ok gang, share time! After quilting Sulabug's, I finally figured out what to quilt on mine! I just finished it! I did feathers in the outer points & peacock feathers on the star itself. I also did the peacock feathers in the corners. Did a feather braid in the blue sash & leaves in the outer piano keys. Hope you can see the designs! Trust me, it looks really awesome in person!

Cindy, oh my, that is just beautiful! A question - did you use different threads on the top than the bottom? I'm not a very good quilter, but I'm learning!

Jeanie, thanks for the compliment! Yes, I used a cream on the bottom & Pink & blue on top. All of it was Glide thread, by Fil-tec. Wonderful thread! Tensions aren''t a problem & they quilt up sooo nice!
