    Default Painted Pictures

Made these two quilts from Kincaid like panels. Each panel come with one picture repeated twice. Kept one picture whole as focus, then cut up the repeat and worked into the quilt. What fun it was creating two different quilts from the same center piece. My MIL gets one and her cousin gets the other. Quilt colors are so much more vivid than these picture show.

Your quilts are SO BEAUTIFUL! Is this your own design? They are so impressive and I love looking at them. May I use your design for a quilt for myself? The squares look like stepping stones into the beautiful garden. They are just plain wonderful. Thank you for sharing.

These are fabulous! Can you share the source for that fabric?

Anyone can use these ideas! I cut the main panel 20.5" square, then use the formula of many 4.5"squares; and some of the following sizes; 4.5"x6.5", 4.5"x8.5"; several 8.5" squares; and a couple 8.5"x12.5". Then you lay out like a jigsaw puzzle. finding a combination that fits. The measurements will work because you can always use combos that will add up to 20.5" around the focal fabric. Then keeping in the stated increments, the rest works into place. The second quilt was more planned after experimenting with the first. Designs are constantly running in my head.
