    Nicky,
WOW!! I am amazed at how gorgeous your quilt turned out to be. You have done an AWESOME job making it. I also hope you win a ribbon or prize at the quilt shows. You will have to share with us when you are all done. You have been such an inspiration to all of us who have followed through with the House BOM for 2011. I applaud you & thank you for making this turn out to be the best ever!!

Cheryl, thank you for your very kind words. I am excited to see it in the shows; I have no expectations of winning anything; I just want to see it hanging, and take some good photos of it!! Thank you for hosting the 2011 Houses BOM. It was my first experience with paper piecing, and that is now my favorite technique. You are always so kind and encouraging to your fellow quilters!

Here is a photo of my finished quilt. I waited until the Sonora show so I could get a good photo of it. As it turned out the lighting was not very good so the pic is not great either! But I am so glad this one is finished!

Nicky, I just love your quilt. Every time I look at it I see something different. This time I saw the block with the sunset over water. Beautiful.
