Hi, I am new on here and relatively new to quilting, but enjoying myself...

I have an idea to make a folded star runner for my Christmas table, and was wondering if anyone has done anything similar in the past.

I am considering 2 ideas; 1, make several square folded stars and then join them together (was thinking 8/9 30cm squares ... I have a big table!) ;or 2, make one huge folded star runner.

All thoughts and comments appreciated ... and help! lol

You can do it many ways. Here's an example of how someone made one - http://www.quiltsofshadymaple.com/qu.../table-runners (scroll down to middle of page). Unfortunately it doesn't show the runner all stretched out, but you can see how it goes together.

Thanks - I get the idea... I was thinking of all folded star though, but will bare this in mind
getting quite excited at the prospect now!! lol
