    [ATTACH=CONFIG]365220[/ATTACH][ATTACH=CONFIG]365221[/ATTACH] quick pek at panda quilt im doing--its ready for frame soon as i get some backing material.. the first pic is paperpieced corner--other shows appliqued blocks and fabric marker sashings

    Awesome quilt! I admire people who paper-piece intricate patterns ... and your pandas are superb. Background fabric is perfect for this quilt. I look forward to seeing the finished project.

    I love this quilt! I agree with MaryMo about the paper-piece patterns, all those little bits are kinda scary. Where did you find the bamboo fabric?

    the background fabric is a pink/green/white stripe--i added the bamboo trees with fabric markers as paper piecing them was taking forever. the panda is holding a red bowl in his paws--another has him in tub with a red washcloth.

    very nice... I know paper piecing can be time consuming... and messy
