This is another item that my DH made for me a long time ago. He has made many for friends of ours. I find it very handy when I am piecing a quilt. I have a miniature Con Air spray iron that I love and it is great for this board. I set the board right beside my machine and when I am thru using it, I put the protective cover on it and put it up. It is great for taking to the quilt guild. When the ironing boards are in use, it sure is handy.

You scored big time with your husband! Mine is proud of what I make, but doesn't look for 'gifts of love' like yours does. I guess we all have our talents, but your husband's really sing to me!

You definitely should ramp up production of those goodies and sell them at craft shows. Throw in some quilt ladders, ruler holders and bird houses and you'll fund your next vacation. ~

Can understand why you are not sharing him but it is so nice of you to share his talents with the pictures! We can then show them to our DHs and ask them to put their talents to use, too. Thank you for sharing your DH's great work!

Twinkie, I am lucky like you are as my husband is handy also. I have a cabinet in my craft/computer room that he made. I think it measures 5' high and 4' wide has 4 deep shelves and need I say they are stuffed full of material, crafts, books, etc. The top is full of a display of my teddy bears as I collect them. Yes, hubby keeps my machines in working order also. I just got a new Singer Quantrum 9960 and guess who got in the box before I did. Our thing here with the grandchildren if something breaks they say "take it to Pawpaw he can fix it". No not for rent or for sale either.
