    Default panel challenge

The challenge was "What can you do with a panel?"

I seem to have a weakness for heart/Valentine fabrics so I had the borders and the fabrics in the paper pieced hearts already and then I found a Valentine panel. I bought two panels so I'd have two of each of the hearts. I didn't want to make a large quilt or a wall hanging this time so I made a bed runner. I'll make some pillowcases or shams and a throw pillow to go with it eventually and it'll go over the guest bed.

The binding isn't on yet. It'll be the dark fabric in the PP heart backgrounds.

Wonderful! Great quilt and fantastic quilting! I love panels! The quilts I make with them always go faster. I don't buy any co-ordinating fabric so I also have the fun of 'shopping' in my stash, too.

WOW! WOW! and WOW! I just love the whole thing! Reminds me of the valentines we had back in the late 50's and early 60's.
