    Congratulations on your first quilt. I made me smile just to look at it...it's just so cheerful !!! Keep up the good work !! ... PS...i lived in Yaxley near Peterborough for 4 years....RAF Alconbury....still miss it.

    Great first quilt! My first quilt is still unfinished in a closet for the past 40+ years! Just too painful to look at much less put the binding on.

    Very pretty. More or less quilting is up to you. You are off to a great start, just keep making them.

    Love it! I agree that the less quilting the cozier the quilt, but just make sure that you have followed the minimum quilting distance for the batting (wadding) that you have used. Should be on the package or the shop owner should be able to tell you.
