    Default Trojan viruses

I am still getting notices of "a potential virus was found on your computer" when I open various posts on the daily digest.

Is there no way for moderators to "fix" this problem???

    Thanks.

    Hello heberstitcher,

We have scanned the site and know that there is no virus on the board itself, but there could be an issue with an ad. To help us solve this problem, could you answer a few questions:

    1) What program is displaying the alert (ex. Norton Antivirus, McAffee, your internet browser)?

    2) Could you post a screenshot of the warning next time it occur? You can post a screenshot by using the Print Screen button at the top right of your keyboard, then pasting into the reply. It would be useful to see both the warning itself and the ads that are on that particular page.

My Norton program sometimes says a threat to my PC was stopped when I open the board website. Probably about 2-3 times a week

I have the same problem...sometimes I think I should not come here anymore. Although I have virus protection it still makes me nervous. I have read in other thread of a lady who has taken her computer for repair atleast twice because of virus on this site. I have McAfee

Hi! I have Kaspersky and I got a warning just last evening when I was browsing. The Kaspersky is set up to just take care of the invaders but I thought it was strange as I haven't gotten a warning about a Trojan in quite a while. If it happens again, I will do as you requested of Herbstitcher.
