OHHHOHHH OOHHHH I got a squishie in the mail yesterday!!! It was from Grandma Peg. In it I got a wonderful Sunflower pin she made from a fall colored yoyo. Great idea for the pin wheels! Also included were handmade crocheted rags. My grandmother makes these as well. In fact I went to see her today and she was making another one then.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE fall so there was a large piece of beautiful fall material! In fact I got an applique book for table runners in the mail today and this material will go perfectly for the fall runner. Also included was a "friction pen', I have not seen one of those before and am not sure how to use it. Any ideas?
This was my first package and it was a great one, (first of 3 for this swap I meant, I've done this swap for a year now & enjoy each one) LOL

Brenda - So sorry you are not an entrant in the mini-quilt contest. I like doing the small, and relatively quick things, so perhaps I'll join the doll quilt swap sometime after the first of the year. I'll wager that there are some lovely things being swapped.
Krystyna - There are so many arteries on Long Island. Here are the first three I thought of - LIE, CIP, and Hwy 27A. (decided not to name the last one in words). I'm pretty certain that your SP partner's street name is not Long Island Expressway or Cross Island Parkway. This is a stumper and I won't sleep tonight..!!!

I have a problem - I have too much stuff I want to send to my SP. But I suppose that's not such a bad problem, right? Among the things I am sending are animal snacks and toys. Happy guessing.

Hmm I think one of Brenda's sps might be Krystyna. just a hunch. And maybe Krystyna has me...if so don't forget to stick in one of those sparkely round things you found last summer when you were reorganizing. I still want one! Oh drat! I don't think there is even a street on K's island that has the same name as my street. Looks like a great package though.

Well my zip could be one added to someone else's and add to 35 so vanogay your package could be coming to me. Hmmm,
Crafty Darlene have a good trip-I hope you will have a way to keep in touch, still want to try to meet up when you get here.
